Aww you are so lovely for doing this! I have enjoyed reading your blog too although I generally tend to do so on my phone..so I am usually a silent reader! After seeing your Rimmel x Kate lippies post I ran out to Boots and nabbed myself a couple (well, technically a triple since it was 3 for 2).
ReplyDeleteFor autumn I think I'll be moving more towards warmer, heavier colours for eye makeup, stick with my heavy liner. For cheeks I think I'll use baby pink and light apricot shades to contrast with the darker eyes. Lips-wise I think I'll be using tinted balms for a pop of colour and plenty of moisture as the season changes!

How I'm changing my look for autumn : I like to have my hair a little shorter, but no major cut & I go for a slightly darker hair colour. In terms of makeup & clothes I like to use more warm colours like deep reds, maroons & yellow :)

ReplyDeleteOk my Autumn (let's be honest when I can be bothered!) look - a rich brown smokey eye (have u tried Urban Decay eyeliner in Bourbon? Reminds me of the delicious biscuits!)with gold pushed into the inner corner - Ombre nails in gold, copper and brown, lips in dusky pinks or coppery browns (I have liked Rimmel's Fudge Brownie since I was a teenager!)Oh and a big gorgeous brown coat!

How I'm changing for autumn: I'll be dying my hair a warm, dark brown tonight and I've already bought some lovely gold and brown eyeshadows which I love.

In the warmer months (which we don't even get here in the UK, but whatever), I tend to just wear black winged liner and a bit of mascara on the top lashes. For autumn, I add a little bit of neutral, shimmery pinkish-toned shadow to the upper lid and a teeny bit of bronzy-brown shadow along the lower lash line, just to draw some light. I also wear black kohl along the waterline and tightline and lots and lots of mascara on the top and bottom lashes. X

My look will keep simple and elegant...i will using some dark brown color as my eye shadow to make my eyes bigger and prettier too~

Here in sunny California, you can't really tell it's autumn yet. However, I'm so excited to break out the Chanel Fall nail polishes! I gave myself a Graphite manicure this morning. In addition, I'll likely be darkening my hair a shade or two once it gets cooler.

ReplyDeleteWell to be honest, I dont change my makeup or nail polish picks for each season. I LOVE wearing deep red lips and dark red polishes all year around, I dont really lean towards changing what I purchase even for the seasons changing. The only thing I would change is my foundation routine, I will probably use a foundation thats a bit more moisturizing as compared to mineral foundation which I use majority of the time.
I do like wearing neutrals on my eyes, but I dont really keep the seasons changing aspect in mind when deciding what look I want to achieve!

For autumm I like browns, reds and oranges colors. I use a brown blush and red polish and I like wear green coats.
