Phillip Kingsley No Scent No Colour

If you've been reading my blog for a while then you'll have heard me ramble on about SLS free hair care quite a lot, it's something I'm really passionate about, and has really helped my hair to be in better condition.

I was really excited to try Phillip Kingsleys No Scent No Colour Shampoo and Conditioner and have been using it for the past month. No Scent No Colour are fragrance, SLS and Paraben free and are a great option for people who want luxurious hair care without unnessecery ingredients.

Like a lot of better quality SLS Free Shampoo's I have tried this one has a really thick texture , and when lathered up gives a really rich luxurious foam as opposed to anything stripping. I find it cleans the hair without leaving it bone dry, or tangled any is a great everyday shampoo. Getting used to it being fragrance free takes a while, but it's quite nice to have something that doesn't have an overpowering smell, that isn't going to compete with other bath products.

The conditioner again is great for every day use and has a light consistency that moistures well without weighing my hair down (I have very thick hair but it gets weighed down very easily)

After I have used both of these products my hair feels really clean, and nourished, and it hasn't irritated my very sensitive scalp. I don't find it combats (although it definitely doesnt make it worse) dandruff or flakiness, so if like me that is a problem you suffer with, I suggest using a targetted shampoo once a week (I like Metique's Tea Tree Shampoo).

You can find Phillip Kingsley Products here. The shampoo retails at £14.75, the conditioner £17.50
