Rituals Foaming Shower Gels

I own way to many shower gels, so much so I often find myself overwhelmed with choice when it actually comes to choosing one to use! Some that I have really been enjoying using are the Rituals Foaming Shower Gels,which come in about 6 scents! 3 of which I have tried. I received the Yogi Flow (Indian Rose and Sweet Almond Oil)in my December Glossybox, and was immediately reminded of the Imperial Leather Shower Foams, except for the scent, which is a lot more luxurious.

It wasn't much longer before I had had to try another, and picked up the Sunrise (Sweet Orange and Cedar)and Zensation (Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom)and all of them are GORGEOUS. The texture instantly foams up, and they smell amazing, and they don't have a cloying artificial scent (unlike the Imperial Leather ones)

These retail at £6.50 so they are fairly pricey, but I love them so much, I will definitely be repurchasing. I also would recommend anyone near a rituals store to go in and look at the products, the stores are beautiful and they always have testers and sinks for you to demo the products. Rituals Super Shine Lipgloss in Ruby Night

Rituals is a brand that I am very quickly falling for. I could spend ages in their stores, and love their bath and body products, as does Nik (the Hammam Range is great for guys) but I had never tried their make-up despite it all looking gorgeous.  I was sent the Super Shine Lip Gloss in Ruby Night. The line is paraben free and contains natural gemstones-nothing like a bit of bling for you lips eh?

A favourite of the beautiful Funda Onal, this lipgloss is a really pretty sheer berry shade with gorgeous shimmer running through it. Despite looking dark, it is a very wearable shade as it is quite brown toned, so it should suit most skin tones. If you’ve been reading this blog for a while you know I love berry toned lip products, I have quite dark,pigmented lips naturally and baby pink shades just look a bit wrong on me.

The formula of this is lovely, not sticky or gloopy in the slightest, as with most glosses it doesn’t last very long, but it doesn’t claim to. It feels comfortable on the lips, and the shimmer isn’t gritty.

I’ve loved wearing this over the top of lipsticks and it looks gorgeous with MAC’ Amorous, which I pat in as a stain before apply this gloss – see this look here.

There are some beautiful shades in the range and I'll definitely be checking them out when I go to stock up on Shower FOams and Bath Oils!

Quick Pick: Rituals Hanami Heaven Bath Oil

I’ve been intrigued by bath oils for a while, although they always seemed fairly expensive. But when I realised how much I spend on Lush products that only last one bath, I realised buying a slightly more pricey Bath Oil that will last me a decent amount of baths would be a good investment.

Since falling in love with with Rituals Magic Touch Body Cream, I have become obsessed with the scent and when I saw the bath oil with the same gorgeous light scent at 30% off I had to buy it. I’ve been using this for a couple of weeks, alternating it with my Lush sale products. You only need to use a small amount for the bath water to turn a milky colour, and I find it makes the water very moisturising and the scent is very relaxing, but not too heavy or overpowering.

As this is so moisturising I find it perfect for those times when you want to have a really good body scrub or shave your legs, things that normally leave my skin dry, and aggravated, but when I use this my skin feels soft, smooth and moisturised.

Rituals Magic Touch Ultra Whipped Body Cream

I got this in a gift set that I received free when buying two others as Christmas gifts. Since receiving a Rituals Foaming Shower Gel in my Glossybox I’ve become very interested in the brand and I spent a long time in the Leicester branch playing with all the products. I picked up a lot of gifts in there but couldn’t resist keeping one myself, they were 3 for 2 after all!

This moisturiser is lovely for the when you don’t want to spend ages rubbing thick creams in, but still want a decent kick of moisture. It’s described as ‘whipped’ and although it looks like a body butter/heavy cream it has the light texture of a mousse and sinks in very quickly leaving no residue.

This product is scented, but it is a very light fragrance that isn’t to sweet/floral and leaves skin smelling fresh all day.

I’ve been using this daily since I got it, and I can’t see it running out for a while. I’ll definitely be repurchasing this when I run out.
