I recently download MyTubo (I don’t have an iPhone so no Instagram for me!) and I have been snapping pictures of things all weekend. As much as I love my DSLR I don’t always like to carry it around with me, as I worry it’ll get stolen, and when walking the dog it’s probably not the best idea to be carrying it around anyway! This weekend was filled with dog walking by the canal, a gorgeous roast dinner from The Almanack (if your in the Leicester area you really should try it) discovering Rubicon Light, and bowling and Chiquitos (which I stupidly forgot to photograph!)

Where You Drink Champagne and It tastes Just Like Cherry Cola
Another shot of Lola, taken in front of the fire, in the five minutes of the day that she is actually tired. I’ve spent today sleeping in, eating sushi, blogging and napping. Perfect Sunday! I’ll be going to see Breaking Dawn tomorrow, and although I wouldn’t class myself as a massive fan of the film series, I’m really looking forward to see how it pans out. I’ve read a lot of negative reviews of the film, but I don’t think Twilight is the type of flm that will ever win critics hearts, so I don’t pay all that much attention to them. I’m also looking forward to seeing 50/50 when it is released on Friday, it stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt (500 Days of Summer) and Seth Rogan (Green Lantern/Knocked Up).
I’ve got a busy week next week, as I work in retail, Christmas preparations are in full swing, and I have lots too organise!

Bambi
I took this when I was at Bradgate Park the other day, a lot of the deer either get nervous around people or are so used to them they don’t notice your there. This little guy however kept looking up while he was eating to look down my camera.

In the Graveyard Doing Handstands
I spent today wandering around Bradgate Park taking snaps and walking Lola with my Mum. There’s some really interesting, gnarled trees, and I spent a lot of the day crouching down taking photos of them. That and trying to get a good shot of the deer that reside in the park. I’ll post some more photo’s from the day soon, but for now here’s some twisted looking trees!
